Centerville Collection: NO.02

Centerville is a capsule collection developed by Underwater Weaving and Jason Miller Studio for Editions Milano; Salone del Mobile, Milan, Italy, 2026.

“Centerville is a personal experiment for us. Our work has been displayed together and sometimes even mashed up together, but this is our first true collaboration. The work is a dialogue between our extremes. The heavy, grounded permanence of Jason’s marble designs and the weightless, open weave of the baskets. Together, the compositions subvert the very nature of a vessel by placing the heavy elements on the outside, anchoring the woven structure rather than being held by it. In a way, the materials perfectly mirror how we operate as a couple—the meeting of masculine and feminine, balancing gravity with air to find a grounded center. Editions Milano is the perfect partner for this project, and we are thrilled to be debuting this work in Milan, a city where we spent some of our earliest days together“.
