Overview

After living and working in loft spaces for over a decade I was time for a change. I wanted to live in a proper apartment. Unfortunately, I didn't have a ton of money to furnish a proper apartment. The solution came from the 1970's. I designed an inverted sunken living room, which my friends affectionately called "Cat Mountain." My girlfriend was traveling during installation. While lounging around the first night she was back, she turned to me and said, "I had no idea how cumbersome tables and chairs were." It was a great place to live.
