Better Than You Remember

2007 - Miami, Florida

In 2007 I was asked by the organizers of Design Miami to be a part of their Design Performances series. My proposal was to hire a hypnotist to hypnotize volunteers. While under hypnosis I would interview the volunteers in hopes of discovering objects from their past that had meaning. I would then draw those objects and use them as the starting point for new work. Surprisingly, the proposal was accepted.
